celebration Here you can see the back of the quick made temple and also where the red clothes hang under a tarp, the gods will set here. Everybody had to pay the elders $5,000 Nt ($ 146. USD). This is very high because some don’t have the money, but they will borrow to pay. The food is offered up to the gods. The monks and elders pray for prosperous years to come.

After this celebration the Holy Ghost spoke to me to show these children who Jesus and God really are. I was moved by all that went on that past week. I prayed for the Lord to show me how to speak to them. He showed me to get a rock, make a face on it and proclaim to them it is my god. It so happened that the rock ended up looking like a monkey. I proceeded to explain to them that my God made the rock but I made the god. So the rock couldn’t be a god if I made it out of something God had already made and God made me. I have only the power that God gave me. Also spirits won’t live in dead things because they need living things to cause them to do things for them.

celebrationThe person who was translating this for me, was Andrew. He is from my adult class and is a teacher in a public school in Chung-Liao. He is not a Christian yet but one day I feel he will except Jesus. As he translated for me, he didn’t understand much of what I said until the Holy Ghost opened his eyes. It was like a great light going off in his head. His face shown with such light it was a blessing to see such excitement in his countenance. He started hollering, “I’ve got it, I understand. I know what you mean, I really do. That is so good, that is so good, I really understand.” he said with his thumbs up in the air. He was so excited that he understood the things the Lord showed me. Please, pray for this young man, wife and two children. I would love to see him come to Jesus and lead his family to the Lord.
