Lesson 18 - What About Worship? (Text Version)

The Wisdom of Worship 

 1.Worship is the first step to wisdom. 
 2.Worship is written upon the heart of man by the hand of God. 
 3.Worship is fellowship with God. 
 4.Gold has more worshippers than God. 
 5."Satan doesn't care what we worship, as long as we don't
   worship God" (D. L. Moody). 
 6.The man who bows the lowest in the presence of God stands
   the straightest in the presence of sin. 
 7."Worship renews the spirit as sleep renews the body"
   (Richard C. Cabot). 

   "O come, let us worship, and bow down: let us kneel
   before the Lord our maker. For he is our God; and we
   are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his
   hand" (Psalm 95:6-7). "Remember the Sabbath Day to
   keep it holy."

   "Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only
   shalt thou serve."

   "And they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy,
   holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to
   come."

   "Thou art worthy, 0 Lord, to receive glory and honor and
   power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy
   pleasure they are and were created.

   "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to
   take the book, and to open the seals thereof for thou
   wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
   out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and
   nation; And hast made us unto our god kings and
   priests: and we shall reign on earth."
