Let's Get Acquainted!

Hello, and welcome to the page that will help you to become better acquainted with me and get to know me in a more personal way. Here are just a few interesting facts about me and my life.

As you know my name is Monika. My full name is Monika Rachael Haas. I am 21 years old. My birthdate is Friday, Oct. 13, 1978. I graduated from high school in June of '97. I was homeschooled from the 1^st through the 12^th grade.

Things I enjoy doing

Reading

Some of my favorites include: Christian biographies, historical novels and mystery. I just got a neat book for Christmas.

Writing

I enjoy writing to friends from all over and I also enjoy writing free verse poetry - something I inherited from my mother. Click here to go see some of the poetry I've written.

Surfing the web is also a favorite pastime of mine.

Hobbies of mine

I collect anything that has to do with dogs. I'm a big-time animal lover.

I also like to cook and bake.

Sports

I'm not much of a sportswoman, but I do enjoy playing a little basketball and swimming.

Some of my favorites include: Little Woman, Sense and sense Ability, Christy, action, true life stories and things from World War II.
