Hi, I hope somone can help me with this one. I cannot remember the name of the book or the author but when I was a little girl (early 70's) there was a book I read over and over about a little girl who lived in a jungle tribe somewhere and she got a thorn in her eye. A missionary with a young daughter rescued her to take her to a hospital for medical attention. They gave her a pair of pajamas with rosebuds on them that she wanted to wear all the time.

I would love if someone can help me identify this book so I can read it to my little boy. It may have been published by a seventh-day adventist publisher.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ I hope you can help me with my question.Ê I recently read in a book by Grant Jeffery that there exists somewhere in the series of books called the "Writings of the Ante-Nicene Fathers" a fantastic story.Ê According to Mr Jeffery, in Matthew 27:51-53, where it states that the graves were opened and the bodies of some of the dead saints arose and appeared to many in the Holy City, there exists a written record of this found in the Ante Nicene writings.Ê It supposedly contains a record of a "deposition" for lack of a better word that the Sanhedrin gave to Simeon the Temple Priest and his sons who were some of the resurrected dead that appeared in the city. Supposedly, the Sanhedrin interrogated Simeon and his sons, and the Ante Nicene writings is supposed to contain the written record of this event.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Is this true?Ê I have accessed some websites that have the Early Church Fathers in their entirety, but it is something like 8000 pages long. If such a record exists, I would love to get it and read it.Ê It would also prove invaluable as a witnessing tool.
