Question: How can I understand the relations of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit? Scriptures would be most helpful.

Answer: It would be very difficult to explain the relationships of the Trinity in this response. A good Systematic Theology book would be very helpful. One I suggest is Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible by Myer Pearlman, published by Gospel Publishing House, Springfield Missouri.

John, Chapters 16 annd 17, are excellent Bible texts to understand their relationships. John 16 deals with Jesus talking about the coming of the Comforter [Holy Spirit]; then John 17 is Christ's High Priestly prayer to His Father.
