Question: How can I understand the relations of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit? Scriptures would be most helpful.Answer: It would be very difficult to explain the relationships of the Trinity in this response. A good Systematic Theology book would be very helpful. One I suggest is Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible by Myer Pearlman, published by Gospel Publishing House, Springfield Missouri.
John, Chapters 16 & 17, are excellent Bible texts to understand their relationships. John 16 deals with Jesus talking about the coming of the Comforter [Holy Spirit]; then John 17 is Christ's High Priestly prayer to His Father.
