(Challenge) Which of God's promises to all Christians have you appropriated and seen fulfilled ?

From: Juan Rivera
Date: Sat, 15 Jan 2000

Christians have now comprimised the word of God for money. How? We have decided to work on Sundays instead fo spending time in the house of prayer and worshiping God. Our focuse has changed from God gives us all to God gives us all except our paycheck. Our boss at work is the most important person to us,because we have lost sight of who really runs the the job.20 years ago everything was closed on sunday, stores liquor stores, food shops. Now a companies main focus is to make lots of money, the problem is this same company uses christians to make money. How can we as christians say we love Jesus when we decide that money is more important than worship. How can we say we have given our life to Jesus when we can't even give up work on a sunday! Jesus owns the cattle on a thousand hills,But we just forget that Jesus also owns the hill.Lets make a deeper commitment with Jesus One can survive without money ,but we can't survive without Jesus..................Juan Rivera/ brother in christ.Godbless.

You will find many people and Christians in this world who serve and worship things that are created. You say Christians are not bowing down to idols. Brother, we have become the idol! We take care of ourselves first. We have become the most important need - our pleasure, our joy, our feelings, our happiness. We have become number one.

We work longer hours, we spend less time with God to make more money. Some Christians spend more time preparing thanksgiving dinner than with God. We have become fat and lazy because we eat the bread of life but do not share it.

David's ministry has been an inspiration to me for many years, as a man of God who is bold enough to speak the truth without compromise. The days we live in there is a deep need in the body of Christ for proven prophetic ministry to speak God's council very clearly. I thank you David for your integrity and boldness and pray that it will rub off on those that hear you. The site is has a clear message that is easily available even to those like myself hear in Australia. Thank you, and may God increase your work.

About 25 years ago, David Wilkerson came out with "The Vision". All of that has come true now...and more. I'm concerned about the continued acceptance of nudity in society. I'm working with Beverly LaHaye's group "Concerned Women For America" to have Victoria's Secret's display ads monitored to prevent them from getting any worse in the family shopping malls.

Also, it's amazing how Christians actually encouraged my husband and I to go see the Titanic....they said it's such a wonderful movie! Well, it was horrible with the cussing, using the Lord's name in vain at least 10 times throughout, nudity, and sex scene, and also the brain washing to accept a fornicating love as good and normal. To accept all that in exchange for a few exciting special effects seems hardly the goal a Christian should attain in his walk with the Lord? The Lord says: " The line between light and darkness is erased by satan and it's in the church." Wow! I guess He's right!

Very concerned about the brain washing of America!

I met pastor David Wilkerson when I was going to graduate school in NY. I miss him and the Time Square Family very much. I am a minister and I miss the good anoited preaching and teaching by Pastor Wilkerson, Connoly, and ministers. I wish some how Pastor Wilkerson would remember and write me a letter. I grew spiritually when I was at Time Square. Presently, I feel that I am spiritual stagnated. Pray for me that I will become active for God and his work. I would like to visit Time Square to visit my church family. I miss you!

God Bless you.

And we Merry go Round Sheep need Shepherds who will not water down the Word of God...just to please ...and protect their income....Brother David really loves The Lord....and thats what it takes to be a Preacher. God Bless you David Wilkerson.I am looking forward to meeting you someday soon ....maybe at that wonderful Supper thats being prepared for us.

I enjoy reading newsletters from the past. I am on Brother Wilkersons mailing list and receive his monthly newsletters. Very rarely will you find a preacher today who will not compromise with man and preach the truth. David Wilkerson is truly a man of God, who I believe follows hard after God.
