Questions:

1. Does God justify the wicked and sinful people or does He justify the righteous? (See Luke 19:10.)
2. How can we say that God is not violating the Scripture in Proverbs 17:15?
3. How can God be just when He justifies sinners? (See Romans 3:24-28; Isaiah 53:11.)

Illustration Of God's Principle Of Justification:

Two men were friends in law school. One of these eventually became a judge; the other became a criminal. The one who committed the crime came before the one who became the judge. Those who knew the situation wondered what the judge would do since they had been friends before. When time for sentencing came, he levied the maximum fine on him. He then went forward and paid the complete fine for him. That is what God did for us in order to justify us. See also the story in Philemon.
