Question: I'm a Christian and I'm having a sweet-sixteen birthday party. I wanted to hire a Christian DJ and I was wondering if it's okay to dance but not in a worldly way?Answer:
It sounds like you are planning on having fun. However, I would be somewhat hesitant to do the dancing thing. The problem is that often times we start out innocently, but with dancing, sensual movement seems to work its way into the picture. By the time it is all said and done, you've probably gone too far. If you were my daughter, I would encourage you to have the party, the DJ, and the whole works, but I would encourage you not to dance. I would encourage you to honestly pray about the matter.
