6. Jesus taught them by asking questions to the disciples and others.

1. "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" (Matthew 8:26).
2. "For whether is easier to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee, or to say, Arise, and walk?" (Matthew 9:5).
3. "Believe ye that I am able to do this?" (Matthew 9:28).
4. "If they have called the master of the house, Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?" (Matthew 10:25).
5. "What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? A man clothed with soft raiment? A prophet?" (Matthew 11:7-8).
6. "Have ye not heard what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him; How he entered into the House of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?" (Matthew 12:4-5).
7. "What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?" (Matthew 12:11).
